Hello down there, this is us up here...

Perhaps you thought this was a new post. Ha! It was merely trickery to lure you into a fleeting moment of anticipation and expectation, soon to be followed by a disconsolate sense of loss and tragedy! I currently have no time to say anything beyond "AHH!!" perhaps followed by a nice heartrending groan. I love finals:)

I have interesting doings and sayings to record for posterity, but I'm afraid they will be forced to bide their time until perhaps Wednesday, at which point life becomes infinitely better. For now, I just wanted to say hello world, I'm alive, and I miss everybody! Can't wait to see everyone, hopefully in the near future.

Catch you on the flip side....

Nice pic. Since when do you get to shoot an M-16/Ar-15/M4??? I'm jealous.

That rifle, upon close inspection, has a retractible butt stock which one would then assume that it is an M4. Though it is difficult to say if it has a shorter barel though by the way he is holding it, it would appear that it does. Does it have a removeable carry handle? I can not tell from the picture. Other things that can not be determined 1. Is it 5.56? 2. Does it have Auto or Burst modes?

We must look at the surroundings. Russ is a Civilian and appears that he is using a civilian indoor range, the civilan version of the M4 is the Bushmaster AR15 which has almost identical specs to the Colt M16/M4 models eccept the Full Auto or Burst modes on Military rifles.

From my annalisis I would probably be accurat in assuming that it is an AR15 modified or built with M4 style characteristics...

or maybe Russ just got lucky.

No Will...it's an AR15. Do you see a select fire lever? I didn't think so. I expect better...
